Teeth Grinding
Bruxism, or habitual jaw grinding, is a common condition that happens during sleep, while concentrating or under stress. Common symptoms include headaches, ear pain, stiffness of the jaw (temporomandibular) joint - or TMJ, and dental complaints (tooth wearing/ sensitivity/ breakage). Bruxism leads to overgrowth of the Masster muscle, which sits over the jaw and can be felt when clenching the back teeth.
